Breakdown Plastic (BDP) is an organic additive of manufacturing plastic, rubber and foam products. Products with BDP become landfill-friendly and can be completely biodegraded in 1-5 years.
From 2017, garbage bags used at Pacific Coffee are added with BDP. Hot drink paper cups with BDP were first under trial in Feb 2019 and will be used across all coffeehouses by the end of 2020.
